The algorithm of the store selects clothes based on personal information supplied by the customer, and customers are able to request additional sizes and styles via touchscreen displays in each of the stores' 40 fitting rooms.

The employees greet customers and ask if it is their first time visiting the store. They offer assistance to customers. The app will then suggest similar items according to what they like. They're also asked to share their style, fit and other details via the app to help refine suggestions in the future.

When you enter the store, employees will take the customer into a fitting room where they can try on the outfits the algorithm suggested. The customer is able to swipe up or down a touchscreen to let staff know if they like the outfit. If they want to try other items the staff will request them to come back to the changing room with more options.

The store stocks a range of well-known brands such as Champion and Amazon Essentials. It also carries Levi's and Adidas and also Kendall & Kylie and BB Dakota. It also carries special editions of influencer-curated collections.

One of our experts, Vargas, was a huge fan of the Prettygarden collection, which she describes as "like the perfect mix of professional and feminine." She saw a lot of beautiful, romantic pieces that would be ideal for summer brunches and bridal showers. Laudort favored the brand's sleek jumpsuits and blazers that have beautiful details like lace and bows.

Another expert GlobalData's Neil Saunders, was a less than impressed with the store. Saunders said that while the store was innovating in some ways but it did not have a clear perspective and was "too complicated." Saunders stated that, even though he believed that Amazon was still a firm believer in brick and mortar retail, the decision to shut down its 4-Star bookstores and stores last year demonstrates that it is focusing on the most important aspects for customers.
